    1. You can custom fabricate something flat and bend it a little to get the bend needed and use that. Some people have also been successful using a flat-head screwdriver. Be careful not to slip

    1. That means the tabs are not being pressed inside. It's clipped in and held in by the tabs. By putting the tool in all the way it will push the tabs inwards and as you pull out the cluster will glide out.

  6. You've said that you connot interchange petrol with diesel cluster, but if you put an rs cluster on a dci, would there be other issue beside revs that stop at 4.5k rpm?

  14. Hello,

A friendly advice to all: please be careful if you, like me, are thinking of changing the dash for a different type. I have the Digital Version in my car (Meg 2012, 1.9dCi), and I simply hate how bright it is at night. I purchased a second hand Meg 2012 1.5dCi dash, which is all black and has the analog gauges, and tried to swap it today. It seemed to be working, but I was getting an Airbag error and "Error Prog" was showing red on the Display. Pressing the stalk Buttons and also the dimmer roller had no effect whatsoever. Seeing that the functionality was not quite OK, I put the old dash in, hoping all would go back to normal before I get ahold of a proper programming tool. Now I get a message of "Service required" on the original dash, and the Odometer has gone berserk, showing me like 699999km, totally unrealistic.
    Any ideas are apreciated!
